BACKGROUND HISTORY:

	A accident took place at home on November 23, 2009. The client had spinal injury of D-6, with complete paraplegia involved bladder and bowel.
	Decompression of spinal cord has been managed by Leminactomy at D-6 fixation of D-5 to D-8 with pedicle screws. on Dhaka PG Hospital, Bangladesh 15.12.2009
	Admitted in Christian medical College, Vellore, from 1.12.2010 to 12.01.2011
	Admitted in National Institute for Orthopedically Handicapped, Kolkata, from 14.01.2011 to 29.04.2011

Clinical Features before treatment on 29.04.2011

 

	Sensation- Absent below D-6 region
	Motor Function- Paralyzed below D-6
	Bladder and bowel involvement
	Have no more hope for further recovery in his mind.

 

 

Features after Psychoplasty treatment on 26.05.2011

 

Sensory-

	Diminished but prompt sense up to pelvic region
	Sense feeling in limbs on slight pressure.

 

Motor function-

	Walking with the help of walker and HKAFO.
	Hip, Knee, Ankle -flexion and extension.
	Ability to make balance of pelvic while standing, sitting and walking.
	Developed self-confidence and willpower.
